Lord Buddha spoke about the universe in space a thousand years ago.

Our Sun is in a large Milky Way galaxy. There are millions of stars like the sun in this galaxy. There may be planets like ours around thousands of stars. And there are many such galaxies in one galaxy. At present, scientists have discovered that there are a total of twenty galaxies, and this space field is growing. Numerous things have come to light through the Hubble telescope.

Scientists believe that each of these galaxies contains billions of planets and that there are, of course, thousands of different worlds. Humans will not be able to come into contact with that creation just because of the huge distance. What is astonishing now is that this is what Lord Buddha said to the monks a thousand years ago. Let us see the Pathakmakomal Sutta in the book Anguttar Nikaya in Suttapitaka.

In it, Lord Buddha preaches, ‘Bhikkhunno, as much as the moon, the sun are moving, the universe is a thousand times bigger. There are thousands of moons and suns in this millennial universe. There are thousands of Sumeru mountain ranges. There are thousands of purple islands. There are thousands of oceans. There are thousands of Chatra Maharaj (people / world). There are thousands of thirty-three (people / world). There are thousands of yams (people / worlds). There are thousands of people. There are thousands of creators (people / worlds). There are thousands of fairy creations (people / worlds). There are also thousands of Brahmans (people / worlds). It is also the main Brahman (people / world). And yet it is changing. Nothing is permanent. The whole world is changing. However, a wise listener should know this and attain asceticism.

According to Buddhism, there are 31 worlds. Scientists have now discovered 20 galaxies. But the search for a new world has not started yet.

At the time of death, just as there are karmic rites, waves are formed and he is born in the higher world. If there are bad karmic rites, then its waves are pulled by the unfortunate people. (See Vipassana Magazine, August 7, 17) He has shown the way. Now it is up to us to cultivate good or bad karma. Because in the same way, the next journey will take place when the earthly period ends.
